Providence
Providence, a 2,300-acre gated master planned community,
offers an idyllic lifestyle for you, your family and
your guests. This community was carefully planned, offering
recreational and social activities, a challenging championship
golf course, peaceful nature areas and quiet streets
in a gated environment. Set amidst the natural beauty
of Florida, it’s a great life – more than half of Providence
will be conservation and green areas. Homes in Providence
will be starting in the high $200s to over $1 million.
The community’s 8,000 sq ft golf clubhouse, which will
feature a golf shop, lounge and full-service restaurant
with seating for as many as 200 guests.
Amenities include: A family-oriented Fitness and Aquatic
Center, featuring state-of-the-art exercise equipment
and a separate activities room. A championship 18-hole
golf course designed by Michael Dasher. An elaborate
Golf Clubhouse, with pro shop, lounge and restaurant
with seating for up to 200 people. Two swimming pools
– a resort-style pool with plenty of lounge chairs for
easy socializing; and a lap pool for exercising. Lighted
tennis courts. Limited access entries with manned gatehouses.
Wide sidewalks for safe bicycling, jogging and walking
to the Golf and Recreation Center.
The championship golf course is a sandy links style
layout that was designed to challenge players of all
skill levels. It will play just over 7,000 yards from
the championship tees, and just under 5,000 yards from
the forward tees. Most of the 18 holes will have water,
but in many cases the water will not come into play.
The course, scheduled to open in late 2005, takes full
advantage of the beautiful, Florida environment. Golfers
will enjoy views of natural Florida wetlands, stands
of moss-laden oak trees and sparkling lakes and ponds.
The 8,000-square-foot Golf Clubhouse will include a
fully-equipped pro shop, a lounge and a restaurant with
seating up to 200 people. The restaurant will be available
for community and private events, such as business meetings
and wedding receptions.
